Celebrating 5 Years!!

On March 16, 2018, The Halp Network was born from a dream between two passionate industry professionals, William “Chip” Beaman, and Julia Bianco Schoeffling.

Since then, our network and services have grown, and so have our group of friends! We thank all of you and are so grateful for the opportunities to help people with their projects, careers, and goals these past five years.

Our work doesn’t stop here! We constantly strive to improve our services, academy offerings, and how we give back to our communities. And we owe our success thus far to everyone’s support!

Thank you for participating in our journey over the past five years. We look forward to many more years of growth and success together!

Thank you to our clients! 🙌

We love all of our clients, and every project we’ve worked on is unique to us! We cannot thank you enough for considering our services for your projects. Whether it’s casting, production, booking, scheduling, signatory, consulting, or anything else we offer, we work hard to help you produce a product with which you are satisfied.

These past five years have granted us exciting opportunities to help amazing clients with their fantastic projects. Some of these within the last year include the new Company of Heroes, the rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush, and even a national spot with the National Crime Prevention Council for their McGruff campaign.

For our latest released project, Hi-Fi Rush, we worked with Tango Gameworks to help deliver an action-packed story with writer and director John Johanas and Linx Studio’s Morten Brunbjerg. We’re incredibly proud of the team for achieving an average 10/10 rating on steam and 9/10 ratings on IGN and GameSpot!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II was among our most highly anticipated projects. We’re honored to have worked with a fantastic group of directors and provided many different services for this reboot sequel of the beloved 2009 Call of Duty series installment.

Shout out to our partners! 🎉

We couldn’t have done it without all our fantastic partners! From everyone we have collaborated with, worked alongside, and were referred by, we appreciate you all!

We are proud of our partners for all of their achievements including Empty Sea Audio for their amazing nomination at the 70th Annual Golden Reel Awards for Oustanding Achievement in Sound Editing: Game Dialogue/ADR for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II!

We’re so fortunate to celebrate our 5th anniversary with some friends at the Garland Hotel! The beautiful ballroom was a perfect spot to share our love of games and food while providing an atmospheric area for old and new friends to get to know each other.

It was a wonderful time connecting with everyone and seeing where everyone’s journeys have led them.

Here’s to another successful 5 years!

Reconnecting to Art During Stressful Times

I’m sick of news headlines…I feel like our collective day to day we’ve experienced so far this decade has been mainline quest after mainline quest after ...phew, that was a close one, let’s refuel and stock up on new gear—wait why are all the prices so high?!— oh hey look, a new mainline quest…! It’s beyond easy to feel hypervigilant about everything going on in games & entertainment…with rapidly advancing tech, layoffs, the constant analysis of what content gets made and why, the economy, how audiences consume media—you name it. If this sounds like you, you’re not alone! I also often find myself lost in the sauce! (If this doesn’t sound like you, don’t be shy, what is your secret??)

Netting in Networking

Listen, I don’t know about you, but I feel like the definition of “networking” has taken on a new meaning. I mean, what even is the concept of networking? Do I have to hand out business cards like I’m throwing shurikens at new clients? Should we have an elevator pitch ready to recite spelling bee style? At THN, we love being in a position where we get to be in the business, and ALSO foster a thriving, supportive community of various relationships within. The beauty of that is getting to know the people we get to work with as they are. People! Who just…happen to work in the same industry.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT – ARIANA

I’m a Cypriot & Greek-American actress born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Naturally, being a valley girl, I’ve always been curious about the industry! Though I first discovered acting through theatre, I was always an avid lover of video games, animation, and dubbing from a young age, sharing in those passions with my siblings. The moment I learned about voice-acting, the transition to that side of the industry was a no-brainer for me. I received my BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College and jumped right into professional voice work after graduating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
