The Art of Audition Contrast with Marin M Miller!

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Many times, we come across audition copy that might not settle right in our mouths, or we get in our head because we don't know the right questions to ask to bring out the best performance we can give.  Each person has something unique they can do to punch up the auditions they send--how does your mind make it work? Let's find new ways of connecting with copy while empowering ourselves with vocabulary to make it easier for us to send in reads that leave lasting impressions.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Marin started their acting journey as a teenager with their first professional booking in 2006, and has worked as an actor in ADR, animation, and interactive projects like DESTINY 2, Supergiant's HADES, Dead Space (2023), World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Diablo IV and Pokémon.  In 2016, Marin began branching into production and has worked as an English Script Adapter on over 100 episodes of television for shows like PERSONA 5: THE ANIMATION, Gundam SEED, Kingdom, and Kakegurui Twin.  Marin also spent several years working as a section leader for the California Philharmonic and Golden State Pops Orchestras' vocal ensembles.

RECORDING POLICY

Classes, workshops, and webinars by The Halp Network, LLC. are recorded for archival purposes. Free events may be posted to our social media channels at a later date. Students of a paid course may receive access to the recording of their class for the student's own use ONLY.
