JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION – Online Via Zoom

Free EventOnline

About the event

The Halp Network celebrates Juneteenth by honoring Black culture and achievement through a discussion panel of experts in the entertainment industry. As they share and reflect on their professional journeys, we hope to inspire, uplift, and empower individuals from all backgrounds. As we celebrate progress, we also take time to remember the history of slavery, understand the importance of Juneteenth, and reaffirm a vital truth: “no one of us can be free until everybody is free.”

This is a 100% free online event, but we’re accepting pay-what-you-can donations for the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, an organization focused on organizing with Black, Brown, and low-income people to build power and prosperity in our communities.

Kane Jungbluth-Murry

Kane Jungbluth-Murry, born and raised in Chandler, AZ had solidified dreams of being in entertainment as far back as he can remember. He grew an affinity for film, television and music at a young age thanks to his parents. His mother, a singer in their church choir, and his father, a freelance music producer and DJ, put the visions of being a star in his view.

From musical theatre, dance, drama, and choir, Kane took on developing skills that put him center stage at every performance through the years. At age 18, he moved to Los Angeles where he took strides into on-camera acting, but his desires made a sharp turn into a new arena—voiceover.

His calling was discovered and passions were found in this industry of voice where he conquer one stepping stone after another. Today, Kane is proud to be a professional voice actor, working with companies such as Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, the MLB, and more. Beginning a career in voiceover is what shifted a desire for storytelling into action. With an actor’s point of view, he brings a love for story structure to every project.
